Hobo is our idea of ​​community. A place where we live, work, create, learn and have fun – together. A home for the aware and constantly curious.

The Hobo concept has its origins in Sweden, with Hobo Stockholm opening in 2017 and Hobo Helsinki in 2024. Its disruptive approach to hospitality proved to be a popular one, quickly making the hotel an institution on the local culture scene. Now, Hobo is coming to Norway.

We are looking for a General Manager who wants to lead what will become Norway's newest hotspot. You are someone who works with the best interest of both guests and your team in mind. You are driven by the thought of introducing the Hobo brand to the Norwegian market, all while creating the most attractive workplace for your people.

The Hobo hotels are a melting pot of local and global talents. As a leader it's important that you are communicative, genuine, and lead by inspiring and creating participation. You have a strong business drive, and always want to lead an organization to the forefront of the lifestyle industry, together with your team. Today, you probably work in the service industry with a big network in the local community.

We also value that you, just like us, have an outspoken sustainability prioritization.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• A brave, non-traditional person with a creative mindset
• Someone working in their first General Manager job, or have been working for a while as a Hotel Manager or Food & Beverage Manager
• An unconventional approach to leadership, being comfortable in both taking charge and making space for the leaders of tomorrow
• Someone who is good with numbers, has an analytical mindset and has a proven ability to deliver results
• Effortlessly turning talk into action
• Fluently in spoken and written English, as well as in a Scandinavian language
• Higher education, in hospitality and/or tourism is an advantage

• You are motivated by creating results through a strong brand position
• You are a result-oriented person who knows how to engage your team
• You are people person, i.e. someone who thrives in social settings
