Marketing Strategist to Nordic Hotels & Resorts

Nordic Hotel & Resorts is looking for a parental substitute for our current Marketing Strategist. We seek a creative and results-oriented Marketing Strategist to join our dynamic team. You will play an essential role in driving the success of our Swedish hotels, resorts, and restaurants. Most importantly, we are looking for a team member with expertise in marketing. 

As a Marketing Strategist, you will have a unique role at Nordic Hotels & Resorts, effortlessly moving between strategy, business, and creativity. You will be part of the Swedish central commercial team and develop and follow up on marketing strategies for different hotels, resorts, and restaurants in our Swedish portfolio.

 

YOUR DAY TO DAY

You will work with the local hotels’ marketing teams to contribute to business goals and enhance conversion. By sharing knowledge and conducting training, you will inspire and share best practices with our hotel stakeholders. It is crucial that you can create strategies but, equally as important, inspire and guide the local teams in both Swedish and English for vastly different audiences.

As a Marketing Strategist, you are known for your ability to put small, everyday details in a bigger perspective. You stay updated on current and future events, activations, and trends within the hospitality and lifestyle industry from an international and local perspective.

To thrive in the role, you must be a positive and flexible person who always has a finger on the pulse. As an NHR Commercial Team member, you will be crucial in shaping our brand's unique and relevant market position over time. You will collaborate with all hotels in our group, which highly demands social skills. Your high level of self-leadership, creativity, proactive approach, and ability to work in a high-paced environment will be crucial.

THE NITTY GRITTY

More specifically, in this role, you will:

  • Speak, write, and work fluently in Swedish and English for the NHR Swedish portfolio.
  • Develop marketing strategies that align with the commercial strategy for the hotels' various channels, including social media, influencer marketing, newsletter, PR, and print.
  • Ensure the hotels’ communication delivers on business goals and drives traffic and sales through their own websites.
  • Advise, guide, and onboard the hotels in current and new channels.
  • Stakeholder Management towards the units, within Nordic Hotels & resorts and the Strawberry group
  • Develop marketing strategies within relevant segments to enhance our hotels' presence and reach.
  • Planned and conducted training and workshops with local marketing teams at the hotels.
  • Do quality follow-up and evaluation of the hotels’ marketing efforts, ensuring that the hotels take relevant actions and act as a sounding board for the hotels’ marketing teams.
  • Gatekeep our brands, ensuring content is aligned with market positions and follows brand guidelines.
  • Constantly stay up to date on trends and developments on social platforms
  • Have a passion for market trends in the hospitality and lifestyle segment
  • Be part of the Swedish Commercial Team based in Stockholm.

 

BONUS POINT

  • A big plus is if you have a basic understanding and knowledge of e-commerce, having previously worked with Paid Social, SEM, and SEO.
