The Hobo concept originated in Sweden, with Hobo Stockholm opening in 2017 and Hobo Helsinki in 2024. Its disruptive approach to hospitality proved popular, quickly making the hotel an institution on the local culture scene.

A new Karl Johan is in the makin’, and Hobo is coming to Oslo.

We are looking for our House Creator, who will be a stakeholder in bringing the brand to life!

The Hobo hotels are a melting pot of local and global talents. You might not work in the hospitality business today, but hopefully, you have an extensive network in the local pop culture community. We are looking for someone who wants to create world-class communication, is passionate about long-term brand value, and has a strong commercial drive.

Our House Creator is a star at ideation who develops activities relevant to the target audience and creates engaging content. We believe you do this through a deep understanding of what drives people’s perception of a brand, both within the lifestyle segment and in the hospitality industry.

To thrive in the role, you must be a positive and flexible person who always has a finger on the pulse. As a team member, you will shape the brand's unique and relevant market position over time. You will collaborate with all hotel departments, which highly demands social skills. Your high level of self-leadership, creativity, proactive approach, and ability to work in a high-paced environment will be crucial.

You are inspired by global popular culture streams and know how to lead a creative process, convincing others of your vision.

The role entails:

  • Ideate, create and develop activations that engage Hobo Oslo’s primary audiences and guest segments
  • Ideate, create, and develop digital content aligned with the brand's strategy, activation calendar, Brand Book, and Visual Identity
  • Produce inspiring and engaging content optimized for different channels
  • Produce digital campaigns in line with Hobo’s brand, tone of voice, and commercial strategy
  • Produce content for hobohotel.no for optimized conversion
  • Annually create a content strategy plan to optimize Hobo Oslo’s marketing strategy
  • Constantly stay up to date on trends and developments on social platforms
  • Have a passion for market trends in the hospitality and lifestyle segment
  • Together with the hotel's commercial team, follow results and KPIs to find new ways to achieve results

Desired qualifications:

  • High understanding of commercial thinking and execution of commercial messages
  • Good competence in graphic design (Adobe package)
  • Good competence in photography, as well as following and implementing a brand's photo guidelines
  • Good competence in photo/image editing
  • Knowledge of simple video editing
  • Good competence in copywriting and the written word in both Norwegian and English, with knowledge of writing for different channels, target groups, and occasions 
  • Desirable relevant education or a few years of work experience in a similar position
  • Desirable experience from working with lifestyle or pop culture
