M&E Host (Meetings & Events), 90h / 3 weeks

Hobo Helsinki is in search of a talented and enthusiastic M&E Host to join our team! <3

We are looking for a permanent part-time Meetings & Events Host (averaging 90h / 3 weeks). In this role, you'll shine across a variety of areas, as your shifts will cover everything from inspiring meetings and high-energy events to our lively breakfast and lunch services. The start date will be agreed upon, with the position beginning during August.

What you'll do:

• Set the vibe: Welcome every meeting and event guest like they’re stepping into your living room – with warm smiles, smooth arrangements, and effortless care from start to finish.

• Keep the flow going: Make sure the event spaces are on point, the tech is running smoothly, and events roll out perfectly. You'll team up closely with the kitchen and the rest of the crew to ensure breakfasts, lunches, and event catering run like clockwork.

• Handle the practical stuff: Solve guest needs quickly, kindly, and always with a touch of Hobo charm – whether it's a last-minute schedule tweak or magically conjuring up more coffee.

You'll shine here if you:

• Bring genuine warmth and curiosity to every interaction.

• Stay calm when multiple events and hungry lunch guests hit at the same time – you keep the vibes steady no matter what.

• Communicate clearly in both English and Finnish (extra languages are always a flex).

• Notice the little things that make an event or a relaxed breakfast feel effortless.

Bonus points for:

• Experience in meetings, events, or restaurant/hospitality roles where people are involved.

• A love for Helsinki’s culture, food, music, or hidden corners.
